Lipodissolve Injections
Lipodissolve is an injectable fat-reduction treatment that can be used in a number of areas, including the thighs, hips, chin, arms, and abdomen. It can also reduce cellulite on many parts of the body. This minimally invasive lipolysis procedure is ideal for those looking to avoid surgical procedures like liposuction.
The Lipodissolve solution is composed of deoxycholate and phosphatidylcholine. Deoxycholate breaks down fat cells, and phosphatidylcholine aids in processing these broken-down fat cells.

The Lipodissolve Treatment Process
Before your Lipodissolve treatment session, no blood-thinning medications should be taken. Ideally, these should be avoided for two weeks beforehand.
The treatment session usually takes around an hour or less. The total time required is impacted by the number of treatment areas and the size of the targeted regions. At the start of the procedure, ice is used to reduce potential discomfort. Anesthesia is typically not required.
The Lipodissolve injections are then delivered. While smaller areas receive around 3cc to 6cc of Lipodissolve, larger regions often require anywhere from 40cc to 60cc.
After treatment, no recovery or downtime is needed. There may be slight swelling and bruising, but these will ameliorate within 10 days. Do not rub the treated regions or apply any topical products.
Patients typically need 4 to 10 treatment sessions and enjoy permanent results. To preserve results, it will be necessary to avoid weight gain.
