Registered Nurse
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide clinical oversight to ensure adherence to medical protocols by all
providers and staff, in conjunction with the Medical Director.
Job Responsibilities
Manage all administrative aspects of front desk and clinic duties.
• Responsible for the assessment of all Laser and Coolsculpting treatments
• Responsible for reviewing all treatment consent forms and confirming there are no contradictions for the
treatment being performed
• Confirming all consent forms have been properly filled out and are signed by the client and witnesses
• Confirming the following information is true regarding clients receiving Laser Treatments
1. DOB is correct in Symplast
2. Has not taken any antibiotics in the last 2 weeks
3. Has not taken Accutane in the last 6 months
4. The treatment area has not been exposed to the sun in the last 2 weeks
5. Has no active tan on the area being treated
6. Has no self tanner, makeup or other products on the area being treated
7. Is not pregnant or breast feeding
8. Has not had any medication changes
9. Has not used Retin A or Hydroquinone on the treated area in the last 5 day
• Confirming the following information is true regarding clients receiving Coolsculpting treatments
1. DOB is correct in Symplast
2. Is not pregnant or breast feeding
3. Has never had or does not have a hernia in the treated area
4. Client’s weight on the treatment day is recorded in Symplast
• Submitting and obtaining all orders for Laser and Coolsculpting to MAA
• Confirming all post treatment assessment box is filled in by the esthetician for every client
• Confirming pre treatment photos have been uploaded into client chart in Symplast
• Documenting any adverse reactions in Symplast (burns, rashes, PH, etc) and contacting dashboard NP
when necessary
• Administering IV Vitamin Therapy, IM injections and Blood Draws
• Administering Laser, Morpheus, Microneedling and other additional services offered
Job Requirements
1. Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse License
2. Two years Medical Spa experience
3. Cosmetic Laser experience
4. Dermal filler and Botox injections experience a plus
