Who is NOT a good candidate for PRP?
Clients with the following CANNOT get this treatment:
- Hepatitis C
- AIDS or HIV
- Any type of blood cancers
- Blood thinning medication (example- warfarin)
- Skin cancers in the area of treatment (doctors note if cancer in another area)
- Active skin infection
- Cardiac stents
- Pregnant
- Breastfeeding patient w/ doctor’s note can receive treatment
