Improve premature balding with hair restoration using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. PRP therapy is a three-step minimally invasive procedure that encourages hair growth.
What Is PRP Hair Restoration?
PRP hair restoration is an innovative treatment that uses your own blood to boost healing in the treatment areas. Plasma is a component in your blood that helps to induce clotting. The proteins in plasma help to promote healing and cell growth. Injecting concentrated plasma into your balding areas can effectively stimulate the production of new hair growth.
Am I a Good Candidate for Hair Restoration Treatments?
If you have experienced mild hair loss, you could potentially be a candidate for PRP therapy. The ideal candidates for PRP treatments are individuals with healthy hair follicles and have not yet experienced complete hair loss. If you have been diagnosed with a blood disorder, skin disease, or have an active infection in the treatment area it recommended to not undergo PRP injections. The best way to determine if you are a candidate would be to schedule a consultation with one of our medical professionals.

Your PRP Hair Restoration Consultation
During your consultation, one of our skincare experts at Skin Tight Med Spa will discuss your concerns. A physical examination will be performed to determine the best and most effective treatment regimen for you.
During the time of your initial consultation, it is important to inform our skincare experts about any allergies, medical conditions, and current medications.
The Treatment Process
The three-step PRP hair restoration treatment starts with a collection of your own blood through a standard blood draw. This will then be processed using a centrifuge to separate your platelets from your red blood cells. Once separated, the platelet-rich plasma will then be injected to your target areas.
Aftercare Following Hair Restoration
PRP injections are performed with zero downtime or recovery period. Common post treatment response can include bruising, redness, swelling, and soreness in the treated areas. These should disappear after a period of 3-5 days. It is recommended to avoid shampooing the treated area for 48 hours and to also avoid hair coloring for a minimum of 2 weeks.
Sun exposure and vigorous exercises should also be avoided for 2-3 days post-treatment. Avoid hot baths, saunas or steam rooms for 2 days after your PRP treatments.
How Much Does a Hair Restoration Treatment Cost?
The cost of PRP hair restoration varies based on the treatment plan and number of sessions needed. The best way to determine cost is to schedule an initial consultation.
