For patients looking for a non-invasive and innovative skin-treatment option, eMatrix sublative rejuvenation may be the perfect choice. This state-of-the-art radiofrequency treatment has become a popular skin-revitalization solution. With eMatrix, Acton patients can resolve a number of skin issues caused by environmental factors like prolonged sun exposure, the aging process, and acne breakouts.
What Is eMatrix?
eMatrix is a natural way to get healthier and younger-looking skin – no injections or chemicals required. It can effectively address rough patches, loose skin, sun spots, dullness, wrinkles, oversized pores, acne scars, and certain stretch marks.
Unlike many other types of skin treatments, eMatrix is safe for use on all skin types and tones. Because it is non-surgical and non-invasive, there is no need for weeks or months of frustrating downtime.
eMatrix is often used as a facial treatment, but it can also be used in a number of other areas to provide skin tightening and rejuvenation, including the neck and abdomen.

How Does an eMatrix Treatment Work?
eMatrix involves the delivery of pulses of bipolar radiofrequency energy into the deeper layers of the skin.
These pulses heat the collagen and elastin protein fibers in the skin, remodeling them and encouraging new collagen and elastin to grow.
This remodeling and growth of new skin proteins results in healthier and smoother skin in the targeted areas.
This is a fractional treatment, meaning that rather than treating an entire skin layer, the energy pulses target numerous very small areas on the skin layer while leaving other areas untreated. This allows the untreated sections to provide healing and rejuvenation.
During treatment, the upper layers of the skin are unharmed by the heat of the radiofrequency energy, making the procedure quite safe. It is FDA-approved and has undergone rigorous testing to ensure safety.
The Treatment Process
At the start of an eMatrix sublative rejuvenation treatment session, a topical anesthetic may be applied to the treatment area to numb it. In many cases, however, this is not required.
The treatment typically takes around 10 to 20 minutes to perform. The technology is calibrated to your desired intensity and degree of ablation.
Treatment involves holding the handpiece above the skin and using the handpiece to apply radiofrequency energy pulses.
After Your eMatrix Treatment
Two to five days of mild downtime/recovery time are typically needed after an eMatrix treatment, depending on the requested intensity of the treatment.
Redness and swelling may be present but will disappear shortly, and creams may be recommended to address these temporary side-effects.
A course of four to five eMatrix treatments will be needed to create optimal results.
After around six months, the full benefits of the procedure can be seen; during this time, new collagen and elastin are being created, gradually improving the appearance of the skin.
eMatrix Cost
The cost of eMatrix is dependent on the number of treatment sessions required. Additionally, price can be impacted by the exact issues being addressed.
